Manchester tram racial abuse: Three admit 'hate' crime charges
Three people accused of abusing a US military veteran in a racist attack on a Manchester tram have admitted a series of offences.
Former US serviceman Juan Jasso was abused after tackling the trio for using abusive language in front of children on a Metrolink tram on 28 June.
The "hate" crime was filmed by a passenger and posted on social media.
Aaron Cauchi, 19 of no fixed address, was charged with two public order offences and assault in relation to the incident, and two further alleged assaults later in Trafford, at Pomona Strand and Bridgewater Way.
Molloy, of no fixed address, was charged with racially aggravated assault, common assault and using threatening words or behaviour.
Another youth, aged 16, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with using threatening words or behaviour and common assault.
