Hillsborough journalist posthumous award for organ donation
An award-winning investigative journalist who was on the Hillsborough Independent Panel has been given a posthumous award for saving lives in her death.
Katy Jones worked on Granada's World in Action and ITV's Bafta-winning Jimmy McGovern drama documentary Hillsborough, as well as creating the BBC's Ten Pieces. She died from a brain haemorrhage in 2015.
She has been honoured with the Order of St John Award for organ donation.
Her husband Mike Spencer said her family were "immensely proud of her".
