Ex-homeless woman lived in Southport toilet for a year
A homeless woman who slept in a public toilet for more than a year has returned to her former abode.
Karen Wallis from Southport said she felt safe there after she was assaulted sleeping in a doorway.
Seven years on she has turned her life round and has her own home, a job and is married.
Ms Wallis who now works for a homeless charity said it was "unnerving" going back and felt "horrible".
