Seventy fireworks explode in Liverpool takeaway

Staff ran for cover when seventy fireworks exploded after they were thrown into a takeaway.

A hooded man threw the lit box into Hello Pizza in Stanley Road, Kirkdale, Liverpool, at about 21:30 BST on Monday and then shut the door.

No-one was hurt. Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
