Thetford baby's death followed 'catalogue of errors'

Lawyers representing the family of a baby girl said her death followed a "catalogue of operational errors" by the ambulance service.

Bella Hellings, who was 17 weeks old, died in March after a fit. Her mother Amy Carter, from Thetford, Norfolk, claimed an ambulance took "too long".

The East of England Ambulance Service has carried out its own internal investigation into what went wrong.

The trust has refused to release the results of the investigation ahead of an inquest into Bella's death, which is expected to be held next month.
