Home cliff fall drama caught on camera

The moment a couple found their cliff-top home was being swept away by the biggest storm surge in 60 years was caught on film by a BBC film unit who happened to be reporting on the village's battle for sea defences.

Steve and Jackie Connelly could only watch helplessly as the sea took apart their bungalow at Hemsby in Norfolk.

Presenter David Whiteley and cameraman Chris Sharman, who were filming for the BBC's One Show, witnessed as the tale of devastation unfolded.
