John Hurt: Actor backs Norfolk At The Pictures appeal
The Oscar nominated actor John Hurt has launched a £50,000 appeal to help create a screen heritage centre at Cinema City in Norwich.
Mr Hurt, who lives in north Norfolk, is supporting Cinema Plus, the film education charity behind the £660,000 Norfolk At The Pictures, external project.
The funds will be used to improve access at the site and it is hoped those with a disability, particularly dementia, will benefit from the education programmes.
Speaking to BBC Look East's Susie Fowler-Watt, Mr Hurt explained why education was so important in the world of cinema.
