Norwich Cathedral peregrines prepare for flight
Four peregrine falcon chicks nesting on a platform on Norwich Cathedral look set to fledge "within days", despite recent heavy rain reducing hunting opportunities and food supplies.
Lin Murray, from the Hawk and Owl Trust, which has been monitoring the nest, said: "We're looking at any time now as they are starting to really stretch their wings and want to get out of that box."
The chicks, two males and two females, are now "the size of a bag of sugar" so predation is unlikely, she said.
