Downham Market mayor and councillors resign en masse
Eight councillors have resigned from a town council amid allegations of bullying "orchestrated" by one other councillor.
Mayor Jenny Groom read out resignation statements at a meeting of Downham Market Town Council, claiming that the council clerk and elected members had been harassed.
Doug Lawson, the councillor she accused of "incessant" bullying, misogyny, racism and homophobia, did not speak at the meeting.
