Church's Shoes aims for 150 new jobs in Northampton

A traditional shoe manufacturer has revealed plans to create 150 new jobs in Northampton..

Church's English Shoes, which has been based in the town for 140 years, wants to expand its production by taking over a disused bus station to meet growing demand from overseas.

If the plan is approved, the company hopes to have the first pair of shoes coming off the production line in the new building by next July.
