Southwick toasts 2013 conker conquerors

The Northamptonshire village of Southwick took centre stage for this year's world conker championships.

Competitors came from France, America even Venezuela to take part.

Simon Cullum, from Kettering, took the men's title and Sophie Knox, from Harrogate, North Yorkshire, the women's.

Since the championships started in 1965 more than £400,000 has been raised for charity.
