Priors Park Hall: Building restarts at stalled Corby site

A housing development in Northamptonshire which stalled during the recession has now been given a new lease of life.

Corby is in the top three places in the UK for development but work on Priors Hall Park stopped as the economy struggled.

Now building is booming again on one of the biggest development sites in the country with help of a government grant.

The site, to the north-east of Corby, has planning permission for 5,100 houses. Developers estimate that in 15 years it could have a population of 12,500.
