Northampton town bus centre problem song is written
The opening of a new bus £7m bus interchange which left a town centre in gridlock has been set to music.
The Northampton Bus Station Song is the work of BBC Northampton presenter and reporter Martin Heath.
He said he was inspired to write the song because Monday's opening had descended into a "comic scenario".
Lines of buses started to build up outside the new interchange while queues of passengers waiting to board built up inside the station.
Northamptonshire County Council said action had been taken to ease problems and it was continuing to monitor the situation.
