Nottinghamshire officer welcomes stop and search review

Police officer Nick Glynn, who has been stopped 30 times by police, has supported the Home Secretary's plans to review the powers used by police to stop and search people in the street.

Statistics show black people are more than three times likely to be stopped by officers and young people from Nottingham told the BBC they felt victimised and "treated like animals".

David Walker head of community cohesion in the city said: "It is a concern because it is acting as a barrier to good relationships between young people and authorities."
