Colwick Joshua Dale memorial skate park is officially opened

A new skate park has opened in memory of a 14-year-old from Nottinghamshire who died when he was knocked off his bike by a car in January last year.

Joshua Dale from Colwick loved BMX biking and his dream had been to build a skate park near his home. Friends and family raised thousands of pounds to build the park.

His mother Faith Dale, said: "The park is a purpose to his short life and something he can leave behind for his friends that he thought a lot of.

"And as a mum that is what we do, we try to make our children's dreams become a reality."
