Closer look at hidden Nottingham church murals
Restorers and local historians have been taking a closer look at hidden murals which were discovered in Nottingham.
In 2009, the biblical paintings, by war artist Evelyn Gibbs, were discovered behind a false ceiling at St Martin's Church, in Bilborough.
The church has secured more than £700,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund to restore the murals and fund a range of activities over the next three years.
The murals were thought to have been destroyed.
