Broadchurch star Vicky McClure talks about her grandmother's dementia

Actress Vicky McClure has spoken to BBC's Inside Out East Midlands about her grandmother Iris's dementia.

The star of ITV drama Broadchurch, from Nottingham has visited a ward dedicated to patients with the condition at the city's Queen's Medical Centre,

Ward sister Nicola King said the focus has gone back to patients.

Days of the week and colour-coded bed spaces are helping patients with the condition, said geriatrician Dr Rowan Harwood.

The Alzheimer's Society has said it would like more dedicated units across the country.
