Watch: Short Circuit replica robot goes trick or treating

A replica of the robot from the Short Circuit films has gone trick or treating for Halloween - dressed as a ghost.

Johnny 5 brought smiles to children's faces as it rolled from door to door in Hucknall, Nottinghamshire.

Pippa, eight, said: "We've never actually seen a robot in real life, so when we opened up the door to it, it was amazing."

The replica robot was created by Ryan Howard, 34, who started building it during the pandemic and said it helped him through lockdown.

He said: "Oh, it's crazy. Kids love him. I mean, I think everyone loves him."
