Nottingham: Men filmed wielding machetes in city centre

Two men have been sentenced after they wielded machetes in Nottingham city centre.

Jordan Bazuna, 19, and Jack Bolton, 18, were filmed waving the large knives outside the Nottingham Contemporary art gallery on 31 January.

Footage of an altercation involving a group of men was posted online.

Bazuna and Bolton were sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court after they admitted affray and threatening a person with a bladed article in a public place.

Bazuna was handed a 16-month sentence, and Bolton was given an 18-month term.

Half of their sentences will be served in detention at a young offenders institution and half on licence.
