Crufts Best in Show champion Jilly retires

A Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen who was crowned Best in Show at Crufts 2013 is to retire from the show ring.

Four-year-old Jilly has been relaxing at home in Wallingford, Oxfordshire, with breeder and handler Gavin Robertson.

Mr Robertson said he wanted Jilly, who beat more than 20,000 dogs to take the coveted title, to go out while still at the top.
