Oxford Greenpeace activist Phil Ball stuck in Russia
A UK Greenpeace activist arrested by authorities in Russia is facing the prospect of being unable to return home for Christmas.
Phil Ball, from Oxford, was among 30 people detained over a protest at an Arctic offshore oil rig owned by the Russian company Gazprom.
He was released on bail in November but has not been allowed to leave the country.
Mr Ball, who faces a charge of hooliganism, said he did not regret taking part in the demonstration.
