Police helicopter contract announced

An aircraft company in Oxfordshire has won a £35m contract to look after the entire fleet of police helicopters across England and Wales.

Airbus Helicopters, based at London-Oxford Airport will now be in charge of servicing all 19 aircraft.

The five-year contract will cover maintenance and support for the combined fleet police helicopters.
