Nato summit: Red Arrows in Nato fly past over south Wales

A spectacular fly past has been performed by the Red Arrows over south Wales the final day of the Nato summit in Newport.

The RAF's aerobatic team was joined by aircraft from across the alliance on Friday morning.

They were seen by spectators from Cardiff Bay to Newport.

Aircraft from the United States, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Poland, Portugal and the Netherlands were led by an RAF Typhoon.

They were flanked by two Polish Mig-29s, a Eurofighter and F-16 Falcons.

Welsh Secretary Stephen Crabb said the fly past served as a reminder that Wales has been put on the world stage.
