Abingdon octogenarian gets her first tattoo at 83

Dame Judi Dench isn't the only octogenarian who finally decided the time was right for her first tattoo.

Anne Parham, from Abingdon, Oxfordshire, is 83 and has had a giraffe tattooed on her shoulder.

Like Dame Judi she also decided to "seize the day" and do something new, after a fall two years ago.

Ms Parham said her decision was inspired by a conversation with her youngest granddaughter.
