Blood donation rule change for gay men welcomed
Gay men across the UK will be able to give blood as easily as straight people from Monday.
As things stand potential male donors are not allowed to give blood if they have had sex with another man within three months.
Wayne Brown, from Oxford, told the BBC how he felt "less of a person" when he was turned away from a blood donation centre at the height of the Covid pandemic.
