Trackers implanted in slugs by Shropshire scientists
Scientists have implanted trackers into several slugs in Shropshire in an attempt to learn more about their behaviour.
Left unchecked, the humble slug could cause huge damage to crops but now, researchers will track their movement in previously unseen detail.
Emily Forbes, from Harper Adams University in Shropshire, said they will mostly be working at night.
