Brass bands get stem cell tests to find donor for trombonist Stephen Sykes

A young musician from Somerset who is battling an aggressive form of cancer is desperately searching for a stem cell donor.

Stephen Sykes, 25, from Shepton Mallet, needs a transplant as chemotherapy is not working.

Despite a worldwide search, doctors still can not find a match.

Now hundreds of members of brass bands from across the South West are getting tested to see if they could be his donor.
