Swindon's Town Gardens aviary reopens after major refurbishment

A birdhouse in Swindon has reopened after undergoing a major refurbishment.

The Town Gardens Aviary has benefitted from an estimated £10,000 refurbishment by South Swindon Parish Council to give it a new roof.

Built in 1994 as part of the Town Gardens centenary celebrations, it replaced an earlier aviary that had stood at the Gardens since 1928.
