Richard Scatchard: Search continues for man wanted over woman's death

Police have released CCTV images to help find a convicted sex offender, wanted in connection to a women's alleged murder.

Richard Scatchard, from Minehead, Somerset, is wanted on recall to prison and over the death of his partner, Kelly Faiers, 61, at his home.

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson said: "We believe Scatchard spent the night after Kelly's death - the 15 to 16 October - in the Watchet area, which he used to regularly visit.

"CCTV captured at about 09:00 GMT on Monday 16 October shows Scatchard in the Swain Street area of Watchet."

Police added the 70-year-old, who is 5ft 11ins and has a Scottish accent, is a risk to the public, specifically women he forms relationships with.
