Thousands attend Sheffield Pride
South Yorkshire's lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community took to the streets of Sheffield to highlight the importance of equal marriage.
Thousands of people attend Sheffield Pride 2013, which was described as the largest LGBT event ever to take place in Yorkshire and had the theme "Striving for equality, Celebrating diversity".
The event was moved from Endcliffe park to the city centre this year to put the community "in the heart of the city, not being marginalised on the outskirts".
Free events at Barker's Pool and Devonshire Green, a parade and after party at the O2 Academy were the culmination of a week of events.
