Dustin Hoffman sends birthday card to 100-year-old Winnie

Actor Dustin Hoffman has joined the 16,000 others who have sent birthday cards to a 100-year-old woman with no surviving family.

Winnie Balgden, from Sheffield, was given the card while on a tour of Radio Sheffield to celebrate her century.

She has received around 16,000 birthday cards from around the globe since a Radio Sheffield appeal went viral.
