Coronavirus: Plane carrying millions of pieces of PPE lands in Yorkshire

A plane carrying five million items of personal protective equipment (PPE) has landed in Yorkshire.

The flight from China arrived at Doncaster Sheffield Airport on Thursday 7 May.

Chris Harcombe, Aviation Development Director at the airport, said: "The teams have done an amazing job in keeping the runway open, we'll be here and ready to do what we need to do."

The equipment will soon be delivered to the NHS front line.
