Lord Lichfield's rarely seen Queen photos shown to BBC
Rarely seen photographs of the Queen taken over several decades by her cousin the late Lord Lichfield have been filmed by the BBC to mark her record-breaking reign.
The images show Her Majesty relaxing with family and pets, and behind-the-scenes at royal events.
The photographs are kept at Shugborough Hall in Staffordshire, which was home to Patrick Lichfield until his death in 2005.
Corinne Caddy, from the estate, told BBC Midlands Today many photos offered a unique "Queen's eye view of the world".
The Queen will become Britain's longest serving monarch on 9 September 2015.
