Ten cats vanish from Staffordshire street in one week

The RSPCA is investigating after 10 cats went missing from one street in Staffordshire in the last week.

The majority of the pets are micro-chipped, but despite organised searches around Everest Road in Kidsgrove, none have been found.

Marie Castrey, whose cat Popeye is one of the cats that's disappeared, said: "It's not knowing that's most upsetting, I just want him home."

Inspector Charlotte Melvin from the RSPCA advised owners in the area to "keep cats inside".
