Business Minister Matthew Hancock has been told it will cost £5m to repair the damage on Lowestoft seafront caused by December's tidal surge.

Mr Hancock, Conservative MP for west Suffolk, is one of 12 newly-appointed flooding ministers.

Hundreds of homes and businesses were flooded in the surge.
