RSPB Minsmere reserve to host BBC Springwatch
Springwatch, the popular BBC Two wildlife series, will be based at the RSPB Minsmere reserve in Suffolk, it has been revealed.
The "wildlife party" has returned to East Anglia after spending three years at Ynys-hir in Ceredigion, mid Wales.
Presenter Chris Packham said: "Minsmere is one of the best places we've got in the UK for wildlife as it has a great diversity of habitat.
"I'm so thrilled we are going there as it will give us a great range of things to look at and expand our repertoire - it's like a Disneyland for birders, it's fantastic."
Springwatch returns to BBC Two at 20:00 BST on Monday 26 May.
