BBC World War One At Home on tour in Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex

The BBC World War One At Home tour has opened its doors for the first time at the Suffolk Show as part of the BBC's landmark series marking the centenary of the start of the conflict.

The interactive experience reflects on the dramatic impact the war had on families and communities, as well as helping people to explore their own relatives' links to the war.

Sinead Rocks, from BBC Learning, said: "Commemorating the start of World War One, we hope these ambitious events will give visitors a hands-on experience, helping people to explore how this conflict shaped our world at home and continues to influence us today."

In the East region the tour will also visit The Forum, external, Norwich, on Saturday and the Colchester Military Tournament, external on the 5 and 6 July.

Shaun Peel has been to take a look around.
