Corrie Mckeague: Suffolk police admit 'frustration' in inquiry

A police officer leading the search for RAF airman Corrie Mckeague has admitted "frustration" over the investigation.

Mr Mckeague went missing following a night out in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, in September and searches are now focused on a landfill site in Milton, Cambridgeshire.

Police switched focus to the site after being told a bin lorry that collected waste from the area Mr Mckeague was last seen was heavier than first thought.

Det Supt Katie Elliott said: "It is frustrating for me. I think it must be terribly frustrating for Corrie's family."
