Bury St Edmunds Eastern Relief Road opens

After seven years in the planning, the Bury St Edmunds Eastern Relief Road has opened, connecting the eastern end of Moreton Hall with the A14.

Work on the £15m road began last year.

Colin Noble, Conservative leader of Suffolk County Council, said: "There's 67 acres of new business park land and we're hoping new businesses will come here... and up to 15,000 jobs will be created."
