Essex fire detecting dog earning biscuits with results

Six-year-old fire detection dog Fizz can find pinprick-sized remnants of accelerants used to caused arson attacks.

There have been many cases where fires were initially catalogued as accidental before Fizz and her super-nose uncovered the truth, said the Essex County Fire and Rescue Service.

Fizz has also been used by the service for educational visits in schools and colleges.
