Lowestoft: Drone footage captures Gull Wing Bridge's arrival

Drone footage has captured the final part of a £145m bridge arriving on a barge.

The bascule span is the largest part of the Gull Wing Bridge in Lowestoft and it will form the town's third water crossing.

Suffolk County Council said the bridge would be the largest of its kind in the world, with a bascule span which is 129.6ft (39.5m) long, 72ft (22m) wide and 115ft (35m) tall.

It was initially due to arrive in early January but was delayed so further testing could be completed.
