Tragedy of Chatham's torpedoed WW1 ships remembered

The loss of three ships torpedoed in the early weeks of World War One remains the biggest maritime disaster in British naval history.

More than 1,450 sailors died when the warships, HMS Aboukir, HMS Cressy and HMS Hogue, were sunk in less than an hour by a German U-boat.

BBC South East Today's Robin Gibson looked back at the tragedy, and spoke to Alex Patterson, of Chatham Historic Dockyard, and Pam Wood, whose grandmother often spoke of the events.
