Listen: Boy, 3, calls 999 for help after mum collapses

A three-year-old boy alerted the emergency services after his mother fainted at home.

Oscar dialled 999 from his home in Banstead, Surrey, and told the operator his "mummy is asleep".

An ambulance took Oscar's mother, Iona, to hospital where she made a full recovery.

Iona said: "I am very lucky that Oscar knew to ring 999 and get me help and I think it just shows how important it is that we tell our children to do this when something feels wrong or dangerous."
