Storm splits Brighton's West Pier into two parts

Rough seas and strong winds have caused part of Brighton's ruined West Pier to collapse.

Part of the structure was washed away overnight, leaving the skeleton of the Grade I listed pavilion in two parts.

BBC South East's Mark Sanders spoke to Rachel Clark of the West Pier Trust and residents in Brighton.
