Sussex skeleton Racton Man out of storage for tests

Human remains from 4,000 years ago that have been stored in a box since the 1980s are to be tested by experts.

Chichester District Council archaeology officer James Kenny led to the dig to excavate the skeleton near Westbourne 25 years ago.

No money was available to examine the bones at the time but analysis will now take place.

He told BBC reporter Sean Killick it was fantastic to be able to understand fully now what he just "played with" in his late 20s.
