Lancaster bombers make aviation history at Eastbourne Airbourne
Two Lancaster bombers have made aviation history by flying together on the south coast for their first public display as a pair.
The planes were the star attraction on the opening day of the four-day Eastbourne Airbourne.
Former flight engineer and bomb aimer Jack Watson, 90, flew 77 missions in the aircraft during World War Two.
Piers Hopkirk spoke to members of the public, Mr Watson, and borough councillor Carolyn Heaps.
