A young girl has been shot in the head in an incident involving a man, thought to be her father, who was found dead at the scene in East Sussex.

The girl, who is of primary school age, was shot in Spring Hill, Northiam, at about 16:00 BST. Residents say the "terrifying" shooting has shocked the village.
