Shot Northiam girl's mum recalls fateful day

The mother of a seven-year-old girl who was shot and killed by her own father in East Sussex has revealed that she was the victim of domestic violence.

Lyndsey Shipstone, her son and her daughter Mary, had been housed in Northiam for their own safety.

An investigation is under way into how her husband came to find them there.

Lyndsey Shipstone spoke to BBC South East Today's Piers Hopkirk about the events of that day, and how she hopes her daughter's memory will live on.
