Knifepoint robbery in Brighton Co-op captured on CCTV

New footage has emerged after supermarket staff were held up at knifepoint by two masked robbers.

The CCTV clip shows the robbery at the Co-op store in Old London Road, Brighton.

The men went into the shop at 21:55 GMT on Friday 16 December and threatened staff with an 11in kitchen knife, demanding they hand over cash from the safe and tills.

They took £2,500 and ran northwards along Old London Road. Sussex Police said both men were white, were wearing hoodies and spoke with Irish accents.
