Redcar woman's plight to raise awareness of Lyme disease

A woman from Redcar is raising awareness of Lyme disease after years of struggling to find a diagnosis for her condition.

Lyme disease is transmitted through animal ticks, which is how Adele Huskins got the condition when she was a child.

After years of not knowing why she struggled with chronic fatigue and muscle twitches, she found out she had the disease through her own online research.

Now she is taking part in a protest in London on 10 May to raise awareness and help others who are being misdiagnosed.
